Baby Boot Camp FAQ’s

What happens if I miss a class?

You can do a make-up class in subsequent weeks. All make ups must be completed within your 6 week round.

What happens to the babies?

Your baby is in total visibility to you. We have a large studio area with a playpen. Babies stay in their prams, and toddlers and crawlers can go into the play pen. We have one instructor leading the class, and another 2-3 helpers assisting with the babies. We rock prams, and we are happy to nurse your baby provided you feel comfortable with us doing so. You can see your baby at all times.

Do we use the babies in the exercises?

Some mothers will take their babies jogging, but most leave inside the studio. The classes are designed for mums to get their workout in. On occasions towards the end of the classes we will bring the babies out of their prams while we do some abdominal work.

What happens if I need to feed my baby?

This is perfectly fine. We have chairs at the studio and you can break free from the class for a quick feed and then re-join once your baby has finished feeding. MissFit is a women’s only studio so our mothers feel comfortable feeding here.

Will the training effect my milk supply?

No. Our mothers on the Baby Boot Camp program train 2-3 times per week. So long as they are drinking plenty of water, and eating healthy, you will not have a problem. You need a minimum of 3 litres of water per day. 2 litres for yourself and 1 litre for your baby!

Do you have parking onsite?

Yes. We have approximately 30 car spaces available at MissFit.

Do I get a nutrition plan?

Yes. We supply all our new mothers with some guidelines for healthy eating. As many of the mothers are breastfeeding we do not recommend counting calories. Instead we encourage them to concentrate on training and very healthy eating and the results will follow. We give them options for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper. The mums who follow these guidelines combined with training often lose 4-6kg in the 6 week block, and over 30cms off their body.
