MissFit training speaks for itself, but it is the meal plans that have made the biggest difference to my quality of life.
Getting my first meal plan, fully designed by a qualified dietician and factoring in the intense training, has changed my relationship with food entirely, and really acted as a ‘re-education’ for me on what I was actually eating and drinking.
If you’re just starting out at exercise or wanting some extra coaching, personal training is the way to go.
Kate has helped me so much during my time in PT.
Two years ago struggling with a chronic injury and needing a change up in my exercise routine, I started PT at MissFit with Jackie.
She modified exercises and I have got stronger and improved my technique.
I have been training with Tannis at Miss Fit for about 10 months now and I can honestly say I have never felt better mentally & physically.
I have had a lot of self doubt due to a shoulder injury, however somehow Tannis can push me to do activities that I never thought possible.
I decided to set myself a goal before my 40th birthday to compete in a natural bodybuilding competition in the Bikini division.
I had been training with MissFit previously doing the group classes and I’d done a 12 week challenge.
I remember meeting Kate at MissFit a couple of years ago when I made my first enquiry about personal training.
When she quoted me I remember saying… “$45 for a 30 minute session! That’s expensive!” But, she won me over, I booked in, and it’s been worth every cent!
Kate worked with me every step of the way, showing me how to do squats, lunges, step ups…we even use the battle ropes and sleds at session.
I’m a busy mum of 3 young boys and I also run my own business which can be quite stressful and demanding.
I recognise the need to prioritise fitness into my busy lifestyle and the only way for me is to lock in set times each week with a personal trainer to ensure it actually happens.
I am approaching 60 years of age and have found a wonderfully welcoming home at MissFit.
I’ve always walked a lot, in excess of 60 kms per week, but I needed more.
In January 2015 I decided to take some PT sessions with Kate @ MissFit.
Not sure what I was getting myself into as I had not trained for quite some time due to work travels and injuries.
I started one-on-one PT sessions [with Tannis], in addition to my group sessions, to focus on some rehab I needed as I was suffering neck/shoulder pain (from ‘office desk job’ & poor posture.
Working with my Physio/Osteo, Tannis came up with my weekly program to help strengthen my muscles in my back, upper body & core areas.
When I joined MissFit, I had little idea it would have such an effect on me.
I am very grateful to MissFit Kate Beeley and her team of amazing trainers I see each week that keep challenging and supporting me.
I joined the 12 week challenge with MissFit in February 2016.
After a year of extreme challenges in my personal life I felt like I had lost myself and who I was and thought this would be exactly what I needed to get myself back on track.
I have just finished MissFit’s latest 12 week challenge and I can I say it’s the best thing I have done! I have always contemplated doing a challenge after seeing the transformations from other ladies that have taken part in Kate’s previous challenges so I signed up.
I set myself a few goals that I really wanted to achieve in that 12 weeks.
Joining Miss Fit training about four years ago was the best thing I ever did.
The second best thing was purchasing and following the Miss Fit meal plans! This is “real food” not one of those short term fad diets that give you short term results but long term good healthy clean eating that really works!
The meals are very well planned, simple to follow recipes and best of all DELICIOUS!! The meals are also great for the family to enjoy so no stress on prepping separate dishes.
I have attended MissFit Baby Boot Camp after having each of my 3 boys.
In fact, Kate started whipping me into shape 6 weeks after the birth of my first son in preparation for my wedding which was when he was 3 months old! This time around I have lost 8kg and taken 3 minutes of my 1 km run time and feel fitter than I have ever been.
I started the MissFit Baby Bootcamp when my son was four months old.
I’d had two babies in 20 months and, like a lot of mums, I fell pregnant with my second before I’d lost all the weight I’d put on with my first.
The reason for my post is that it was 12 months ago last week that I became friends with Kate on Facebook! And I must say that I have thought of her every day since! Sometimes it’s a grumble! Like when I wake in the middle of the night because my legs are sore or have to walk up and down those stairs.
But mainly it’s because of the positive influence she has had on me.
I joined MissFit over a year ago now.
I’d had some issues with my previous Gym and after looking for a few weeks, then one visit to MissFit I realised this was the place for me.
Hannah & Clare
We started training together at MissFit five months ago and cannot speak highly enough of Kate and the lovely MissFit team.
We love the variety and challenge of every session and the support of the MissFit community.
Hi my name is Gaby.
I am approaching my 2nd anniversary with MissFit.
Eloise & Marissa
Elly joined MissFit in December 2015, and when she continued to rave about it, Marissa wondered what all the fuss was about, and decided to give it a go.
It didn’t take her long to see why Elly had become a fan, and she soon shared the MissFit addiction and decided to join the team.
I have been training for competitive rowing at a national level for the past 12 years.
During this time, I fell pregnant with my beautiful daughter, and underwent breast cancer treatment at the same time.
I’ve been at MissFit for a year now, since my second child was 6 weeks old.
I’ve done baby boot camps and general sessions.
I started with MissFit doing BBC almost 5 years ago just after having my first baby.
I can honestly say one session and I was totally hooked, I have never looked back.
I started with MissFit in March 2015 when bub was 5 months.
I knew I needed to do something about my weight when after the birth of my second daughter; it was going up rather than down and I was starting to feel like I couldn’t move anymore.
I was picking things up with my toes rather than bending over to pick them up and the idea of being physically able to go for a run was inconceivable to me.
Today was a very exciting day for me.
After an extended break from training due to having my second baby, I finally returned to MissFit.
In March 2016 I began training at MissFit after the birth of my third child.
I was 89kg, unfit and with an unhealthy eating habit.
My main goals were to be able to be fit enough to play Centre for a whole netball game and to participate in Miss Muddy 2015.
I reached both these goals much quicker than I had expected and on top of this I have never felt stronger!! This is due to my new-found love of weight-training which is owed to the MissFit team for constantly surprising us with new ways of working out the same muscles and making the whole ordeal enjoyable.
I first came across MissFit at a pregnancy and baby expo.
I knew I had to do some about my weight and the girls at MissFit made a great impression so I signed up to the baby bootcamp classes.
I have done three 12 week challenges since starting with MissFit and I can honestly say they have been life changing.
I have now lost over 45 kilos since starting on my health and fitness journey which I never thought was going to be possible.
Already reasonably fit but looking to improve and also looking to lose that stubborn last 4 kilos of weight I signed up for the MissFit 12 week challenge.
It was great from the start, at the breakfast launch I had a body scan, it is so interesting to find out what is going on with muscle mass and fat percentage rather than just obsessing about weight and BMI we had a talk from the body scan people to explain how it all works and also from the nutritionist and had the chance to ask any questions about the meal plans.
I joined MissFit in January 2014 when my son, turned 6 weeks old.
Exercise for me has been a daily part of my life for as long as I can remember.
5 months ago I made the best decision I have made for a long while, which was sending an email to Kate Beeley and her team at MissFit, inquiring about her program .
I was 2 years post having a baby and 39 years of age , not overweight , but I was feeling lethargic , low in mood, stressed with work and also finding that after having a baby my social network was lacking.
I joined MissFit back at the start of September for the 12 week challenge.
Before joining, my health had never been a focus.
To be honest, I initially chose MissFit for convenience – it was close to home and I could bring my baby along whilst I exercised – female only fitness classes were really not my thing (boxing being my exercise of choice), so my expectations were not high.
Pretty soon after starting at MissFit any misconceptions I had were completely blown out of the water – these girls cou.
Since I began training with MissFit in September 2014, I have lost over 20 kg and increased my fitness and energy levels more than I ever thought possible.
By eating of variety of clean, wholesome foods every day, I have been able to easily maintain my weight and fitness level.
As a local I regularly drove past the Miss Fit girls running up and down Old Cleveland Road and have to admit I found the girl group training thing fairly intimidating and not for me.
More recently my Sister encouraged me to try Miss Fit after she completed a 12 Week Challenge and achieved her personal fitness goals of losing weight and toning.
I started Missfit in September 2015, when I moved to Brisbane from Sydney.
Before joining, I would see the MissFitters running and training.
After having trained with MissFit for a few months, I decided it was time to sign up for the 12 week Fire Up Challenge in May.
After struggling with my weight and self-confidence for the past few years I knew this challenge could be a positive turning point for me.
I started Baby Bootcamp at MissFit back in July 2015 when my second son was 6 weeks old.
After having two babies in 15 months, putting on 18 kilos and then the added diagnosis of insulin dependent gestational diabetes which puts me at higher risk of developing diabetes later in life, I not.
No extreme dieting.
Just fantastic balance of protein, carbohydrates and good fats and real nutrient dense foods.
